Inkspirations Sketch Challenge # 13

Since I went back to work in July, after being on maternity leave for over a year, I feel as though I've hardly had time to stamp. I am only working 2 days a week but this seems to take up lots of time in preparation (and recovery, lol). Anyway, to get back in the mood to create I thought I'd take part in some of the blog challenges out there. I chose to do Makeesha Byl's Inkspirations Sketch Challenge first up. I am usually more of a 'free range' stamper, deciding on my colours and playing around with the layout as I go'. I had heaps of fun doing this sketch though.

Here is Makeesha's sketch:

And here is my card:

The supplies are as follows:
Stamps - Great Friend, Eastern Blooms
Ink - Regal Rose, So Saffron, Certainly Celery
Cardstock - Natural Vanilla, Regal Rose, So Saffron, Whisper White
Ribbon - So Saffron grosgrain

Thanks so much for looking!

  1. Beautiful card, love the colours and my favourite stamp set.

  2. This is so sweet. I love the lightness and freshness you have got going in this pretty card. It reminds me of spring when all the flowers begin to open their buds to reveal their colours. Sally :)

  3. Oh my goodness, this is such a pretty card. Love the little flowers amongst the leaves, the colours you've used, the sprigs on the little squares..oh, I just love it all!!!

  4. Such a really pretty card, so soft and feminine. Great job!

  5. I love the colours...such a beautiful delicate card. Hope that you continue to find time to create!

  6. Such a beautiful card! So pretty and well balanced. Can't wait to see more!

  7. Beautiful colours Nicole! Thanks so much for playing. Love Keesh x
